SUSTAINABLE JEWELRY & JEWELLERY MANUFACTURERS

The fashion sector has a wide range of environmental implications, including waste, materials, plastics, pollution, and carbon footprint. In an industry that is driven by seasonal trends and newness, trying to grasp all of the parts of this influence and acting truly sustainably is quite difficult. The jewellery industry, in particular, is rife with products that are not only cheaply made, but also unethically made. To keep expenses down, workers are paid very little for their work, and low-cost materials are used. Essentials Jewelry, the Sustainable Jewelry Manufacturers, on the other hand, has always had a true desire to do things differently and has always been an environmentally conscious firm committed to sustainable methods. Essentials Jewelry is looking for small and large ways to contribute to the solution to climate change. Consumers of the younger generation (millennials) prefer sustainability over legendary companies. Many jewellery businesses are responding to this trend by using recycled metals, ethically sourced stones, and exquisite handcrafted creations that support the local artisan community. As a result, marketers are now looking for manufacturers that are sustainable, transparent, and ethical to work with or partner with. As a result, we believe we’re in a unique position as a manufacturer to assist independent brands in functioning more sustainably and making a significant difference in the sector. It’s an honor to be a part of this journey for Essentials Jewelry. We are in the process of fully integrating the needed standards for a “green” manufacturing facility to manufacture “responsible jewellery” by leveraging the newest materials and manufacturing know-how.

Wholesale Custom Jewellery Manufacturers

Essentials Jewelry employs more than 400 internationally renowned Thai artisans who use centuries-old tool trades and artisan techniques. Essentials Jewelry creates long-lasting jewellery. Every year, we produce approximately 2,700 designs by combining our strong design team’s knowledge of the latest fashion trends with direct input from global head buyers. Essentials Jewelry Supplies wants to be able to produce over 220,000 pieces each month and supply over 3,000 businesses across the world. Essentials Jewelry is a Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) certified member that was re-audited by Intertek in 2020. Since 1992, 96 respected brands have put their trust in us. To protect the safety of YOUR clients, all of our jewellery complies with the European Union’s REACH chemical standard. Always put safety first!

SUSTAINABLE JEWELRY MANUFACTURER

We are pleased to inform you that, to lessen our environmental effect, we now offer our clients the option of using only 100 percent certified recycled silver in their jewellery items. Our recycled refiner is a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council and is listed on the LBMA’s (London Bullion Market Association) Good Delivery List to certify the quality (RJC). Join us on our recycling adventure. Assist us in becoming more sustainable by working together. Essentials Jewelry is committed to producing ethical jewellery, contributing to the community, and encouraging women in the workplace. By wearing Essentials Jewelry, you are actively choosing to respect people and the environment.

Private Label Jewellery Manufacturer

Our jewellery is a circular product by definition, as it can be repaired and recycled into new pieces. Consumers tend to pass on their jewellery to the next generation, making the jewellery industry more sustainable than other businesses. Essentials Jewelry is committed to ethical manufacturing, and our goal is to become your go-to source for high-quality, long-lasting jewellery. Essentials Jewelry encourages its clients to purchase long-lasting pieces rather than fast-fashion products. As a result, we strive to create high-quality jewellery that can be worn multiple times while also supporting conscious consumption. At Essentials Jewelry, we create long-lasting jewellery. Even though greener solutions are more expensive (ethical manufacturing can cost up to 30% more), a 2020 Neilson survey indicated that 66 percent of all consumers are willing to pay more for sustainable businesses. For millennials and Gen Z, the percentage is considerably greater.

SUSTAINABLE JEWELLERY MANUFACTURERS

As a Sustainable Jewelry Manufacturer, we are making a few minor changes to ensure we keep improving in all elements of our business – for us, for you, and the planet. Our factory is proudly run by Essentials Jewelry, allowing us to maintain a high level of quality and, more importantly, make our handcrafted jewellery on demand (made to order). This means we can pay attention to demand and prevent producing a surplus product, resulting in wasteful stock. As a result, greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced, and resource consumption will be sustainable.

Wholesale Jewelry Manufacturer

Every piece of Essentials Jewelry is handcrafted in the United States, avoiding a substantial carbon footprint by eliminating the need for samples and orders to be sent back and forth internationally.

SUSTAINABLE JEWELLERY MANUFACTURER

Not all pieces of jewellery are made equal. Essentials Jewelry strives to provide high-quality, expertly created jewellery that will last a lifetime and maybe be passed down through generations. For this, we improve skilled manufacturing and provide small and significant repair services (including re-plating) at a low cost to our clients, allowing them to restore their pieces to new condition, allowing them to be sold and passed down again. We believe that maximizing the life of each piece is another step toward a circular economy.

Custom Jewellery Production

Customers are encouraged to use silver base metal because it can be recycled again, according to Essentials Jewelry. If a user becomes bored with their piece, it can be disassembled, melted down, and reassembled using the same components but in a way that makes it feel new. The intrinsic worth of these materials results in an essentially sustainable life cycle.

Jewellery & Jewelry Manufacturers Hong Kong

Essentials Jewelry also encourages all of our clients to start practising more responsible consumption by plating finer microns because you can wear them longer if you buy better.

Custom Brass Jewellery Manufacturers

Essentials Jewelry currently complies with the REACH (Restriction, Evaluation, and Authorization of Chemicals) regulation of the European Union, which aims to limit hazardous substances such as nickel, lead, and cadmium in all parts of jewellery that can be reasonably accessed by end consumers, thereby reducing the number of harmful chemicals in the environment.

ETHICAL JEWELRY MANUFACTURERS

Wherever possible, Essentials Jewelry recycles or reuses. All of the metal scrap generated by our facility is recycled back into the system, resulting in zero waste. In addition, we use a filtering system that catches precious metal dust particles (silver) so that they can be reused. All soft plastics, as well as cards, papers, and courier bags/boxes, that come into our business are either reused or recycled.

OEM Jewellery

Essentials Jewelry, the Sustainable Jewellery Manufacturers, is currently transitioning to sustainable energy as our $400,000 solar panel project nears completion. The solar panel is a clean and abundant renewable energy source, and with the onset of global climate change, it is more necessary than ever to do everything we can to reduce any further strain on our atmosphere. As a result, by 2025, we want our 9,300 square meter factory to be at least 75% solar-powered.

Essentials Jewelry is devoted to ethical sourcing to ensure that all of the materials we use come from a decent source. Essentials Jewelry only works with long-term trusted suppliers who ensure that our materials, like chains, findings, and stones, are ethically sourced.

ETHICAL JEWELRY MANUFACTURER

Wherever feasible, simulated gemstones (such as Cubic Zirconias and Nano Gems) are utilized since they are laboratory-grown, totally traceable, and have a look that is very close to mined gemstones. Our synthetic gemstones are of the greatest quality and durability and are built to last a lifetime. As with other precious and semi-precious gemstones, they will endure wear and often have greater hardness and stability. Every laboratory-grown stone is hand-selected for its beauty and optical attributes, which are decided by brilliance, color, clarity, hardness, durability, and price as compared to natural stones. We do, however, deal with natural stones on occasion, although we try to restrict them to a bare minimum owing to ethical concerns. Essentials Jewelry works closely with our stone suppliers to determine the place of origin of all of our gemstones, which come from all over the world, including Brazil, India, and Madagascar. We can submit them to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Bangkok for certification at an additional cost if they require it.

ETHICAL JEWELLERY MANUFACTURERS

All of the crystals we use are hand-glued and come from Preciosa, a company that is committed to environmental sustainability. Preciosa crystals are lead-free and produced in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.

White Label Jewellery Manufacturer India

Essentials Lab-grown diamonds, also known as conflict-free or cultured diamonds, are used in jewellery. Lab-created diamonds are 100% diamonds and can only be identified from mined diamonds using advanced laboratory equipment. These diamonds are never mined and undergo the same chemical composition, hardness, brightness, and fire as mined natural diamonds since we are Ethical Jewelry Manufacturers. The only difference is that instead of the earth, the origin is a laboratory. According to studies, lab-grown diamonds have a carbon footprint of 5 to 10% that of mined diamonds.

Custom Fine Jewellery Manufacturers

Lab-grown diamonds are hand-selected and graded according to the 4Cs of clarity, color, cut, and carat weight, much like mined diamonds. Please keep in mind that we only work with DEF color (colorless) in VS1-2 clarity and white. Lab-grown diamonds can cost anywhere between 20% and 40% less than mined diamonds. To keep the price down, Sterling Silver is advised as the base, with an appropriate amount of stones (not too many) that are not too large.

All of the opals we use have been grown in a lab. We do, however, work with Ethiopian Opals on a case-by-case basis. Essentials Jewelry uses freshwater pearls in a variety of shapes and sizes as requested by customers, but also uses artificial pearls where possible. Our resources are acquired locally whenever feasible to promote domestic industry. Essentials Jewelry intends to promote demand for artisan work possibilities in INDONASIA rural communities.

ETHICAL JEWELLERY MANUFACTURER

When it comes to making jewellery, metals are essential. The mining of virgin metals, on the other hand, can be extremely harmful to the environment. Metal mining frequently results in environmental degradation and the usage of hazardous pollutants, which suffocate sounding areas and ecosystems. Research also demonstrates that recycling silver reduces CO2 emissions by 23% compared to mined silver, although over 80% of the world’s silver supply is still mined. Apart from a small number of components that are created by us, we currently offer our customers the option of employing certified recycled silver in their jewellery creations.

Jewellery Casting Manufacturers

Vermeil is a traditional French plating technique that combines a palladium barrier layer with a thick layer of 18K gold or rose gold plating. Gold vermeil is a terrific alternative if you want to establish a collection of high-quality jewellery without paying the expensive price of pure gold. Gold-plated silver and semi-precious gemstones are used in jewellery. They are less expensive to manufacture and, as a result, have a more appealing pricing point for their customers. As a result, demi-fine jewellery bridges the gap between mass-market jewellery and aspirational fine jewellery.

The choice of base metal for your collection (sterling silver or brass) is largely dependent on your marketing and brand positioning. Because we use the same master mold and production process for both base metal and plated pieces, the appearance and finishing quality will be the same.

SUSTAINABLE JEWELRY MANUFACTURERS INDIA

The plating durability will be the same on both base metals. For instance, 1-micron gold plating on silver and 1-micron gold plating on brass will both last the same amount of time. Please keep in mind that the Sterling Silver base will cost more than the Brass base. The price difference varies depending on the size and weight of the jewellery. All of the jewellery we sell is hypoallergenic and nickel, lead, and cadmium-free. On request, testing services to ensure compliance with your country’s legal regulations is also offered for an additional fee. Previous test reports, on the other hand, can be obtained for free. We can plate from 0.125 microns (5 mils, often known as flash plating) to 3 microns, depending on your goal price (120 mils). Furthermore, we always add E-coating, or Electrophoretic coating, which is a clear layer that we apply to our silver, gold, and rose gold plated pieces to extend the plating’s lifetime.

Custom Jewelry Manufacturer Bali

Please keep in mind that an e-coat will not alter the appearance of the jewellery. If you’ve had a terrible plating experience in the past, keep in mind that each plating facility has its plating technique. Meaning that just because factory A and factory B both plate 2 microns as per the order does not mean that the items produced by both factories would endure the same amount of time. 0.125 microns should survive 6 months or more according to the general rule, whereas 1 micron should last longer than the Essentials. Jewelry cannot guarantee how long the plating will last because it is entirely dependent on the wear and tear of the buyer. It can, however, endure for years if properly cared for.

SUSTAINABLE JEWELLERY MANUFACTURERS INDIA

It’s not a question of “if” you’ll get tarnish, but “when.” When it comes into touch with chemicals that cause a chemical reaction, such as perfume, salty air, sulfur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine, and acidic skin pH, tarnishing occurs significantly faster. The reaction produces a thin, discolored film on the metal’s surface. It won’t, however, produce the same kind of physical harm that rust does to iron. The degree of tarnishing that develops is determined by the wearer’s skin and care practices. As a result, tarnishing is considered regular wear and tear rather than a production flaw. If you’re having a lot of returns because your pieces are tarnishing, we propose the following:

Instruct your consumer on how to properly care for their jewellery. Consider increasing your plating thickness to plate thicker microns (especially on rings) Provide a small piece of soft silver-polishing cloth with each purchase, or sell it separately. The afflicted area/tarnishing patches should be bright and shining again after gently rubbing the cloth across them. Return them to us to be replated. Essentials Jewelry provides this service for a little fee to restore your returned items. Please note that shipping is the customer’s responsibility, therefore we recommend gathering these once or twice a year and sending them to us. Send them back to us as part of our “Silver Buy-Back Recycling Scheme” to be recycled. A minimum of 1 kg of sterling silver jewellery is required for a recycling batch to be considered, and shipment is at the customer’s expense. In exchange, the customer will receive a credit note that may be applied to their future order with us.

Essentials Jewelry has begun tracing the origins of our metals in order to better understand and mitigate our environmental effect (not an easy task with the minerals supply chain that is many layers deep). However, we’re taking things slowly to guarantee that all of the metals we use are conflict-free.

Essentials Jewelry’s designs include not only high-fashion season designs, but also a core collection of classics and non-seasonal pieces that are built to survive for decades. Essentials Jewelry attempts to restrict the usage of polybags (particularly transport bags) as much as possible because we are one of the best at being an Ethical Jewellery Manufacturer. We are now seeking eco-friendly poly bags manufactured from plant-based/bio-based material to pack all of our jewellery. As a result, instead of using fossil-based polymers, the polybags will be made entirely of plants.

Essentials Jewelry encourages its customers to use environmentally friendly packaging materials and to avoid using plastic. As a result, we encourage them to use materials on their packaging that are either 100 percent recyclable, manufactured from recycled resources, or biodegradable. Wherever possible, brands should use sustainably approved paper or wood, certified organic fabrics, and water-based dyes and glues. Essentials Jewelry offers a list of Essentials Jewelry-approved suppliers who provide packaging that is totally recyclable, degradable, and ethically manufactured, which we are pleased to refer you to.

Every day at Essentials Jewelry, we respect and empower women in the workplace in the pursuit of gender equality. In fact, our current male-to-female ratio (manufacturing and office combined) is 1 to 2.5 as of January 2020. Essentials Jewelry is a business that has opted to support and invest in women. Essentials Jewelry employs female craftswomen in rural BALI (almost 73 percent of our present workforce is female). The majority of them reside in tiny towns and villages where work is scarce. Our customers are happy not just because they like our jewellery, but also because the women who created it were adequately compensated and worked in a secure atmosphere. Every year, our design team creates an Empower Women’s Edit, a curated selection from our open-line in honor of International Women’s Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, to promote brands that support one of the most important days of the year.

Essentials Jewelry works with pure 925 Sterling Silver, a high-quality precious metal foundation for the 18K gold vermeil (2.5 microns) plating, and is a Sustainable Jewelry Manufacturer in India. Vermeil is a traditional French plating technique that combines a palladium barrier layer with a thick layer of 18K gold or rose gold plating. Gold vermeil is a terrific alternative if you want to establish a collection of high-quality jewellery without paying the expensive price of pure gold. Essentials Jewelry does not pretend to be a perfect sustainable jewellery manufacturer (yet), but we are constantly striving to improve by choosing the ‘better’ option whenever possible. We’d love to hear from you if you or someone you know has relevant information about jewellery and sustainability.
